Registration Begins - 11:30am
Join us for a fantastic day of community events. The shotgun start for our golfing for a cause event kicks off at 2:00pm, followed by dinner and refreshments after the game. Don't miss the Silent Auction which closes at 7:00pm, with a live auction after dinner. There will also be several door prizes to be given away!
About Vernon Lions Club Golf Tournament for Camp Winfield
Our Goal
The Vernon Lions Club is excited to announce their annual Golf Tournament for Camp Winfield, taking place on May 30, 2026, at Vernon Golf & Country Club. This community event aims to raise funds to assist children and adults with disabilities in attending Camp Winfield. At Camp, they can enjoy an all-accessible environment alongside peers who share similar challenges. This opportunity also allows families to take a well-deserved break while their loved ones are at Camp, where care is often needed around the clock. For those hesitant to be away from family, family camps are available. The cost to send one camper is approximately $3,875, reflecting the 3:1 ratio of nurses, counselors, and staff to campers. Many families struggle with this expense, which is why our golfing for a cause initiative is so important. The joy on the campers' faces and witnessing their newfound confidence makes all our efforts truly rewarding!
